5th Grade
Parent Program
Class number four invites parents to sit in on the entire class and observe the social skills curriculum and the dances the students have learned. This is also the only time that we offer parents the opportunity to dance with their student. This is one of our favorite events.

Western Night
Class number three is Western Night for the 6th grade only. Leave the white gloves and neckties at home and wear jeans, boots (or tennis shoes), hats, and bandanas. We teach fun line dances and award prizes for the best cowboy and cowgirl outfits.

50's Night
(alternates with 70's Hippie Night every other year)
Class three is a fun night of dressing up as if you are in the 1950’s. Most kids think of it as the movie “GREASE” Night: poodle skirts, Pink Lady jackets for the girls or jeans and white T-shirts with slick back greasy hair for the boys. This is a very fun night. We will have contests for the best dressed and we will do some jitterbug type dances.

70's Hippie Night
(alternates with 50's Night every other year)
Class number three is Hippie Night! Think bell-bottoms, platform shoes, and all things groovy. We will offer prizes for the best outfit and we will do a few of those crazy dances popular back in the day.
7th and 8th Grades
Winter Dance
In week four, we hold our Winter Dance. The winter dance is a night of superlatives and we select a King and Queen of Cotillion. We still have a lesson planned but this is a much more exciting night for the students. This is when the girls can wear their most special dresses.
