7th & 8th grade cotillion students experience a formal four-course dinner and 1 hour and 15 minutes of dining instruction in addition to a 45 minute class on either money management skills or deep dive dining, depending on the year.
Children are expected to adhere to the Dinner Attire Policy guidelines below although ladies do NOT need to wear white gloves. Also, all children are welcome to dress fancier.

Where to place your napkin when you are finished dining
What to do when you dislike certain foods
How to eat difficult foods
Passing foods and when to “reach”
All those utensils and when to use them
What to do and say at the end of a meal

This year, our special 45 minute session will be about money management skills. More details to come!
DINNER ATTIRE
For Ladies:
Dresses or skirts of appropriate length. No pants, jumpsuits, pantsuits, split skirts, or shorts.
NO tennis shoes, cowgirl boots, Uggs, or high boots. Ankle booties are fine.
For Gentlemen:
Suits OR blazer with dress slacks.
Dress shirt and tie.
Dress shoes. NO tennis shoes.
